The former Zebra was capped by England Under 18s in 2016 during their tour to South Africa, and he helped England Under 20s to a Grand Slam during 2017 and was part of the Under 20s squad which reached the final of the Junior World championship in Georgia that summer. John Crichton stated, “we are proud of Jamie and he sets a good example to other local young players as to what can be achieved”. Jamie, who is now preparing for the upcoming challenge of re-gaining promotion back to the Premiership with the Falcons, encourages youngsters of all shapes and sizes to take up rugby union stating “there is a position for everyone and that the game provides great benefits physically and socially”.
