Grace Weston gleefully helped herself to a pair of tries with Juliet Porter chipping in with one and four conversions were clinically delivered by Danielle Easdon.

Indeed, it was a genuine all-round performance from the Finches, with every player putting in a shift and what will have boosted their confidence further is maintaining a clean sheet - their first since October 2019.

The result leaves Workington seventh in North 2 West, a point behind Winnington Park, but with games in hand on all teams above and they will aspire to keep on the victory trail on Saturday 29th January when they take on Cumbrian rivals Upper Eden.
